Data Availability Statement
Open Data Policy
The collection of scientific papers “Ways to Improve Construction Efficiency” supports the principles of open science and encourages authors to ensure the open, transparent, and responsible sharing of research data underlying published scientific results, in accordance with the FAIR principles.
FAIR Principles
The journal recommends that authors adhere to the FAIR principles (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable), according to which research data should be:
- findable and identifiable;
- accessible through reliable storage services or under clearly defined access conditions;
- presented in open, commonly accepted, or machine-readable formats;
- reusable under clearly defined conditions.
Placement and Identification of Research Data
Authors may deposit research datasets in institutional, national, or international research data repositories.
Where possible, datasets should be assigned a persistent identifier, including a DOI or another PID.
Indication of Data in the Article
Information on available research data, including a link to the repository and the DOI or another persistent identifier of the dataset, should be provided in the text of the manuscript.
If all data necessary to verify the conclusions of the study are presented in the text of the article and supplementary materials, a separate data availability block will not be displayed on the website.
Exceptions and Limitations
The requirement for open access to data may not apply if:
- the data contain personal, confidential, or other sensitive information;
- there are ethical, legal, or contractual restrictions;
- disclosure of the data would contradict the requirements of applicable law.
In such cases, authors must provide an appropriate justification in the manuscript text.
Alignment with International Approaches
The journal’s open data policy is aligned with contemporary international approaches to open science and with the requirements for Ukrainian scholarly journals.
