Correction / Expression of Concern / Retraction
The Editorial Board of the collected scientific papers "Ways to Improve Construction Efficiency" adheres to international standards of publication ethics and the recommendations of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) regarding post-publication changes. Depending on the nature of the identified issues, the Editorial Board applies one of the following instruments:
Correction (Erratum)
A correction is published when a significant error is identified in a published article that affects the accuracy of the results, the integrity of the scientific record, or the reputation of the authors. The correction notice describes the changes made and includes a reference to the original publication.
Expression of Concern
The Editorial Board may publish an Expression of Concern if:
- there are reasonable grounds to suspect a violation, but insufficient evidence to justify retraction;
- the reliability of results is in doubt, but an investigation has not yet been concluded;
- an investigation is underway, but a decision is not expected in the near future.
An Expression of Concern clearly identifies the nature of the concern and is published open access with a link to the relevant article. The Editorial Board follows the COPE Guidelines on Expressions of Concern.
Retraction
Articles that have been officially retracted after publication are marked as "RETRACTED". Grounds for retraction may include the identification of significant errors in calculations or experimental data, violations of copyright or academic integrity, failure to comply with ethical standards, as well as other circumstances that cast doubt on the reliability or scientific value of the published results.
On the webpage of a retracted article, the reason for and the date of retraction are obligatorily indicated. The text of the publication remains in the electronic database of the collection with an appropriate retraction notice and is not recommended for use as a reliable source or for scholarly citation.
