Prevention and counteraction of plagiarism
The journal “Ways to Improve Construction Efficiency” does not accept for publication any materials containing signs of plagiarism or self-plagiarism (duplication). After submission to the editorial office, each manuscript undergoes mandatory screening for textual borrowings using specialized software tools and is also analyzed by subject specialists during the double-blind peer review process. Only manuscripts with a text originality level of at least 80% are accepted for consideration.
Each identified case is subject to additional review in order to establish proper citation and correct attribution of the sources used. If the absence of proper references (plagiarism) is confirmed or self-plagiarism is detected, the manuscript is rejected without the right of resubmission, and the author is notified that the material does not meet the required level of originality.
If plagiarism is detected after the publication of an article, such an article is marked “PLAGIARISM” or “DUPLICATE” in all indexing resources and is not removed from the journal archive, where it is also accompanied by the corresponding label.
For all issues related to violations of publication ethics, data manipulation, or plagiarism, please contact exclusively the official email address of the journal – Chernenko.kv@knuba.edu.ua (Executive Secretary, PhD in Engineering Kostiantyn Chernenko).
